Micah E. Huggins, Managing Attorney
Micah E. Huggins has been preparing for his calling since the fifth grade. During a classroom exercise where students were asked what they wanted to be when they grew up, Micah raised his hand without hesitation and declared, “I want to be a lawyer.” From that moment, he committed himself to the path of advocacy.
In high school, Micah joined speech and debate. Even without a coach or formal program, he excelled — ranking among the best in the state. Presenting arguments and telling stories transformed his life and confirmed his purpose.
Micah’s passion grew during the O.J. Simpson trial. Inspired by Johnnie Cochran’s courtroom brilliance, he studied Cochran’s books, documentaries, and cross-examinations. Justice became personal.
Growing up, Micah witnessed the legal system up close. His father was convicted of a serious felony. He often visited his uncle in law school, gaining a real understanding of how law affects families. These experiences built his empathy and his drive to give clients the second chance his own family needed.
Huggins Law Firm was officially established in 2015, but its roots stretch back to that fifth-grade moment of destiny. Today, Micah works tirelessly to help people rebuild their lives, reclaim their futures, and rise from the hardest moments of their lives. He is driven by purpose, compassion, and a calling to ensure every client is seen, heard, and fought for.
